Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Manager in Vancouver, British Columbia

It’s hard to understate the importance of Frontline Workers (FLWs) to the world economy and to our society. From Healthcare professionals to Retail store associates, FLWs make up 2B+ of the global workforce but are currently underserved by technology. Frontline communications play a major role in enabling FLW productivity. We on the Microsoft Teams team deeply understand and respect that in order to digitally transform business processes and industries, we need to deliver to our customers the best in productivity and comms tools tailored to the unique needs of Frontline Workers.

One common aspect across all frontline workers is that they are scheduled for work by their managers. They need easy access to these schedules – their own when they are off-shift to plan their life; and of their team’s when they are on-shift to communicate and collaborate. Frontline managers rate shift management as one of the most important (and cumbersome) tasks.
