KPMG Senior Consultant - Valuations in Vancouver, British Columbia

Are you a skilled person with a demonstrated track record on executing project deliverables?

As a Senior Consultant in Valuations, you will assist in the preparation of valuation models and reports for a variety of engagements and support the KPMG Audit Practice with various valuation assertions during their audit.

What you will do

  • Assist in performing valuation assignments in support of transactions, financial reporting, and other services across a diverse range of industries.

  • Manage multiple engagements and successfully complete client deliverables on a timely basis.

  • Review business plans, financial statements, agreements, CIMs, etc.

  • Prepare financial models, apply valuation methodologies in a meaningful way and perform financial analyses utilizing resources such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ.

  • Conduct industry and economic research.

  • Prepare, review, and edit reports and memorandums, tables, and graphs.

What you bring to the role

  • Successful completion of the CPA, CA.

  • Enrolled, or willing to enroll in the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) program, to obtain the CBV designation.

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Deep interest in continuous learning.

  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to meeting deliverable timelines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior members of organizations in a professional manner.

  • Excellent critical thinking and writing skills.

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and valuation-based software.

  • Technical knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or other accounting standards and fair value issues arising therein.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $63,500 to $99,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
