Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst is responsible for providing ad hoc and regularly scheduled reports and critical insights into limited warranty data to cross functional internal teams and external organizations.

This unique role will provide the successful candidate with highly visible opportunities to leverage their technical capabilities, organizational savvy, team leadership and creativity in a role that is simultaneously customer facing and process driven.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure use of and compliance with business systems, procedures, and data management.

  • Provide warranty data, including business updates, to third party actuary.

  • Quarterly analysis of limited warranty reserve delivering proactive insights to the business ahead of each actuarial report.

  • Lead the data strategy for the warranty reserve forecasting and accrual processes and execute the warranty annual operating plan.

  • Data modeling to drive productivity utilizing SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau.

  • Create and troubleshoot complex Alteryx workflows, documenting processes and instructions to support standard work.

  • Champion team collaboration around daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly performance and help develop insights based on available data.

  • Be a change agent for more data-driven approaches to warranty performance measurements and reporting.

  • Interface with the Product Growth Team(s), Quality and Reliability to share analytics related to equipment failure.

  • Develop, execute, and schedule strategic recurring reports to stakeholders and automate distribution as appropriate to increase efficiency.

  • Create ad hoc reports to support partner teams such as Sales, Product Management, Quality and Finance.

  • Analyze limited warranty data including customer and warranty performance data, warranty returns activity, financial data, and other applicable data sets to identify warranty trends, execute on opportunities for product and process quality improvements, and support recovery action plans.

  • Partner with Warranty Performance team to identify and develop validation and audit processes to be implemented at the field level.

  • Provide Customer Relations support through all aspects of the Limited Warranty value stream.

  • Support Customer Service organization MOR/QOR processes by helping track various metrics and KPIs.

  • Be results and team oriented and foster that culture with others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Information Technology required.

  • 3+ years analytics experience; relevant HVAC, sales and/or warranty reserve analytics experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated expert analytics experience utilizing Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau .

  • Ability to act proactively, independently, and decisively to quickly assess needs and identify logical solutions.

  • Able to accurately assess the cost/benefit of product changes in terms of productivity and warranty.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate across the organization and positively influence business outcomes.

  • Able to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences across all functional disciplines, including Senior Leadership.

Base Compensation Range is $71,500 to $168,000 Note: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan
