Would you like to further develop your career with our exponentially expanding Financial Engineering and Modeling group? Are you up for the challenge to help the most sophisticated Canadian and international clients to solve their quantitative and modelling issues?
What will your typical day look like?
In this role you will help financial services industry (FSI) clients face quantitative issues with informed confidence. Using your deep technical skills and leveraging our global network of experts, you’ll provide professional advice to our FSI clients in a wide range of situations. The result? Our clients will be better placed to take control and receive the best solutions to their complex challenges.
During your typical day you will provide subject matter expertise on Sustainability ESG risk in the context of modelling and risk management based on industry best practices. You will develop tools and methodologies to support Sustainability ESG engagements. You will also assist clients in ensuring compliance with Sustainability ESG regulatory requirements. Meanwhile, you will also be able to learn and work in other quantitative and analytical areas such as credit modeling, forecasting and stress testing, customer behavior modeling, and new innovations such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. You may also carry out various complex financial analyses including carbon pricing and decarbonization transformation.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience spent within Sustainability ESG modelling area at a major financial institution or consulting firm.
Experience in Sustainability ESG frameworks and standards, sustainability risk management and capital management, financial analysis in the context of climate and nature changes.
Strong academic background with a PhD or Master's degree in Financial Engineering, or another relevant post-graduate degree (such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics).
Solid programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Visual Basic) and data analytics skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Certificate in Sustainability ESG would be an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $113,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
