What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be an individual contributor responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporate and purchasing card expense, and expense processes.

About the team

You will work as part of the Chief Business and Finance Office (CBFO) within our Central Business Services (CBS) team and report to the Senior Manager, Expense Management and Accounts Payable. The team is a group of highly motivated, strategic minded and dynamic individuals that support and deliver finance operations across the Canadian businesses.

You are someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting, with at least 3 years of experience in a global organization, preferably in a shared service or service outsourcing environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency in English and French required, due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, Teams, and ServiceNow. Provide advice on travel and expense policies and procedures to internal users.

• Manage the end-to-end corporate credit card program, including policy development, implementation, and ongoing management.

• Act as the primary liaison with banking partners to ensure the smooth operation of the credit card program. Negotiate terms, resolve issues, and stay updated on industry trends.

• Develop and enforce corporate credit card usage policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and analyze corporate credit card expenses to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Investigate suspicious activities related to corporate credit card usage, collaborating with internal teams and banking partners to implement fraud prevention measures.

• Implement strategies to maintain a low delinquency rate, monitor payment patterns, and proactively reduce delinquencies.

• Implement and maintain controls to mitigate risks associated with corporate credit card usage, including fraud prevention and data security standards compliance.

• Prepare regular reports and analyses on corporate credit card usage, expenditures, and opportunities for savings for management review.

• Identify process improvement opportunities for the corporate credit card program, collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes.

• Lead and support projects related to the corporate credit card program, such as system upgrades, process improvements, and expansion initiatives.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL or other coding languages preferred. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and applications such as Concur, Cognos, Blackline, and MS Access.

• Manage project timelines, testing, and validation, ensuring timely completion of initiatives and change requests in collaboration with global teams.

• Conduct research, gather data, and extract actionable insights from expense and corporate card data for analyses and reconciliations. Present findings and recommend improvements to senior executives.

• Develop and enforce policies related to corporate credit card usage, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Provide training and support to employees on the proper use of corporate credit cards, including expense reporting and reconciliation processes.

• Support optimization of system functionality within Concur, focusing on user-friendliness and minimizing rejection rates through corrective actions.

• Improve the travel and expense reimbursement process by leveraging a network of 'super users' and champions of the process.

• Provide Tier 1 customer service in French and English, assisting corporate cardholders with inquiries and issues related to card transactions and central travel arrangements.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
