Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Developer, Cloud Engineering in Network Cloud to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in cloud computing, networking, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system engineers, and architects, to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions.

• Configure, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.

• Implement security best practices, including encryption, access control, and monitoring, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.

• Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Critical Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, and YAML.

• Expertise in OpenStack, including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, and Keystone.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

• Experience in security best practices, including encryption, access control, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.

• Valid certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
