What you'll be doing

The Cybersecurity, Third-Party and Operational Resilience (CTPR) team aims to protect the bank and its customers by enhancing governance and oversight across the bank’s global regions and to define and enhance cyber security capabilities, threat detection, and building resilience to operations and third party eco-systems. We take a risk-based approach to our activities and initiatives, maximizing impact in risk reduction, mitigation and resiliency. We operate within a proactive, agile and resilient security culture enabling CIBC to be the leader in client relationships. Our priorities help bring action to deliver with productivity, maintain trust of all stakeholders and leverage technology to seize growth opportunities.

As a Sr. Consultant, People Change Management, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting organizational change initiatives within CIBC. This position focuses on ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively, minimizing disruption and maximizing employee engagement. You will report directly to the Senior Director, CTPR Portfolio and PMO Management and provide PCM expertise and communications support for ongoing change initiatives and CTPR project delivery, working collaboratively with the project delivery teams and with our enterprise partners.

How you’ll succeed

  • Change Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement change management strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for change initiatives.

  • Communication Planning: Design and execute communication plans to inform and engage employees about changes, ensuring clarity and transparency.

  • Training and Support: Identify training needs and develop programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to adapt to changes.

  • Change Impact Assessment: Conduct assessments to understand the impact of changes on employees and the organization, providing insights to leadership.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation : Track the progress of change initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 5 - 8 years of experience in organizational change management or people change management in a large enterprise organization. It's an asset if you have a Prosci certification and have familiarity with ADKAR or other change management models / methodologies
