What you’ll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s Identity and Access Lifecycle Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of Identities. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand priorities and execute on plans. You will provide technical leadership, standards and best practices as a service owner to stakeholders (technology teams, applications teams etc.) during design, build, configuration, testing, implementation and maintenance phases of initiatives/projects involving identity lifecycle.

How you’ll succeed
Project Management and Delivery - Deliver on requirements for identity lifecycle management as required to support the planning, design and execution of the initiatives and on-going support for access control activities. You will work with the business teams on implementation and adoption of identity strategy that meet their needs and are in line with overall IAM Program.
Consulting - You will champion the establishment and improvement of identity lifecycle processes, controls and communications across stakeholder groups making informed recommendations to enhance solutions. Where required, consult with Technology and LOBs regarding access control related issues. Weigh business needs against technology offerings, security concerns and provide recommendations for improvements, which are practical and achievable.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting - You will be responsible for preparing management and/or executive reporting and other presentation material to communicate existing and new IAM initiatives and ensure successful adoption. You will focus on continuous improvement activities such as process enhancements and sustainable reporting process for governance will be key to your success.
Identity and Access Governance - Knowledge of Identity and Access Management approaches and concepts, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing guidance to stakeholders within and outside own area.
Strategy & Roadmap - Drive enhancements to security that are both practical and achievable using a balanced approach that considers business needs as well as information security risk. Maintain, create & enhance processes related to the lifecycle of Identity Access Management and supporting documentation. Identify new identity and access management requirements through industry resources, research and consultation with technology subject matter experts.
Relationship building - Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts as well as external experts to stay abreast of notable developments and trends across the information security domain.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in Identity and Access Management. Experience deploying and operationalizing identity lifecycle strategy. Experience with various types of identities such as BOTs, cloud identity management. It’s an asset if you have (or working towards) your CISSP or CCSP designation.
You have experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ . Experience working with project teams on implementing identity lifecycle management through SailPoint.
