What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy & Product Delivery, the Sr. Consultant, Digital Strategy, is accountable for supporting the development of the Digital Channels strategy to build the bank of the future. In this role you, you will own the strategy and roadmap of our .COM and Knowledge Management (KM) channels, with key responsibilities including:

  • Digital Roadmap and Strategy: Maintain the Digital roadmap and vision for the channels you lead. Proactively identify new opportunities that will solve client and business problems and provide recommendations to leadership. Prioritize features and projects for delivery, provide updates, secure funding and ensure strategic alignment between functional disciplines (Delivery, Platforms, Operations, Data, Experience, Technology, Accessibility)

  • Market and Competitive Assessments: Proactively scan the market to identify and assess new and emerging digital capabilities and our competitive standing.

  • Partnership: Work closely with your peers as well as other teams in Digital and partner Lines of Business to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects, planning and presentations.

  • Business Casing: Support the development of business cases and ‘build or buy’ analysis

  • Measurement: establish and govern quantifiable value metrics, KPI’s and ROI criteria

  • People Coaching: Provide coaching, and mentorship to junior members of the team.

You maintain an intimate understanding of key advancements in product features, technology innovations and client experience advancements not only in financial services but across industries globally.

  • Storytelling – Construct compelling and convincing strategic summaries. Articulate the strategic vision, client and business benefits to gather buy-in from stakeholders.

  • Organization – Support and enable the broader team with simple yet effective organization and updating of information.

  • Relationship Building Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring all partners and stakeholders are appropriately engaged and updated on all relevant product plans.
