Senior Product Designer, Sportsnet
Rogers Digital builds and operates digital products for over 50+ media brands. We’re looking for exceptional design talent to craft outstanding experiences for our diverse audiences.
We are seeking a Product Designer to lead a product design for Sportsnet on the Experience Design team. The successful candidate is an extraordinary thinker who will contribute to each phase of the design process to deliver elegant, intuitive digital experiences for Canadian sports fans.
What you’ll be doing:
Design engaging digital experiences for Sportsnet across multiple platforms
Work with Product Owners to define the problems that design can solve for
Create UX deliverables - site journeys, user flows, wireframes, page hierarchy, and information architectures while leveraging best practices, research, testing, and analytics to inform decision making
Creating high fidelity assets including prototypes and static mock-ups
Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile/scrum methodology
Presentations and communication to stakeholders
Delivering visual assets to development teams
Serve as a subject matter expert providing actionable recommendations and confidently standing behind them to obtain stakeholder buy-in
Interpret requirements and translate them into quality user-centric outputs that balance the user goals, business needs, and technical specs
Initiate and manage the process of testing and optimizing our deliverables, engaging the user research, analytics, and digital optimization team as required.
Participate in stakeholder reviews, user testing sessions, and business acceptance testing to ensure a seamless end-to-end online experience.
What you have:
Passionate about user experience and a champion of user-centric design
5 years min of experience in product design: UX architecture, UI design, requirements, concepts, wireframes, prototyping, and usability testing.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members
Collaborative spirit and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills;
Strong portfolio demonstrating your talent, problem-solving skills, and design experience,
Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in responsive design, mobile apps, user-centered design, and information architecture, coupled with a strong acumen to think out-of-the-box
In-depth knowledge and expertise with Adobe XD or Sketch, and prototyping tools
