Purpose
Contributes to the continued build, implementation and success of the Total Wealth Strategy in Canada, ensuring specific individual and program goals, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the Canadian Wealth Management growth strategy. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The Senior Manager works closely with the Director, Total Wealth Transformation in the development and delivery of strategic partnerships, marketing campaigns, education content, client events and advisor tools to support the delivery of the Total Wealth Strategy to serve clients and prospects in the context of retirement, longevity, health and wellbeing.
Accountabilities
Works closely with the Director to:
Support the development, launch and sustainment of the Total Wealth Strategy
Manage multiple work streams to ensure program milestones are reached, tracked and reported
Organize, facilitate and document discussions across project streams and training sessions
Collaborate with internal and external partners and businesses to create and align resources to support program objectives and deliverables
Create and track program KPIs and dashboards for executive reporting
Identify and develop tactics to incorporate identified industry and internal best practices into the program
Lead and coordinate events and initiatives related to Total Wealth, longevity, health and wellbeing including content development, advisor enablement, communications, and events.
Lead and support national, regional and business specific training programs
Builds and fosters key partnerships across Canadian Wealth Management and enterprise partners
Collaborate with the Canadian Wealth Management Client Solutions team and key stakeholders to optimize internal processes and tools to improve the client and advisor/relationship manager experience
Manage and build external strategic partnerships to expand the network of Total Wealth specialists to include health and wellbeing experts
Conduct research, trend, and cost/benefit analyses to identify additional business opportunities
Support advisors and relationship managers to better understand retirement, health and wellbeing needs of Scotia clients
Support the development of marketing, communications, training and sales collateral and materials to support advisor client growth
Collaborate with training teams to develop advisor engagement roadmap and ensure seamless execution of initiatives
Lead Forward Planning to proactively drive program success
Develop a one-year look ahead plan for travel to ensure businesses and stakeholders are engaged throughout the program milestones
Support on key priorities for the year ahead and prioritize initiatives to ensure consistent implementation and adoption of key program enablers
Champions a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education / Experience / Other Information
Post-secondary degree, preferably in Business Administration
Five years of experience in corporate strategy or project management in the wealth management, banking or financial services industry, is an asset
Deep understanding of Wealth Management Business lines
Experience developing and delivering business line and/or executive communications
Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams
Strong relationship management skills to effectively manage relationships across the Bank, its partners and external vendors
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen and attention to detail
Strong project management experience, PMP is an asset
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Bilingual in English and French is an asset
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
