Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated & resilient team player to join IWM Strategic Partnerships team as Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating strategic partnerships to drive business growth and enhance market presence. You will be accountable for planning and execution of key deliverables of the internal and external partnerships across IWM footprint. The Senior Manager contributes to the long-term profitability of the International Wealth Management (IWM) business line by supporting with establishing partnerships that bring the whole Bank to Wealth clients and aligned with IWM’s strategic goals. This is a demanding hands-on and strategic role which requires the candidate to be knowledgeable of the financial services sector, has client facing experience, and has in-depth experience collaborating with international teams. You should have the ability to develop a partnership strategy, business cases and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • You will contribute to the long-term profitability of the International Wealth Management (IWM) business line by:

  • Support, develop and execute partnership business development plans to drive measurable results and that aligns with the IWM strategic objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and Business leads to develop integrated partnership initiatives.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, making data-driven recommendations for optimization. This includes proposing, tracking, and reporting KPIs/KRIs to measure the success of the partnerships model in an executive reporting dashboard format.

  • Co-creating the IWM Partnership Framework & Standards and support the implementation which ensures high quality standards of the partnerships that bring the whole Bank to Wealth clients and aligned with IWM’s strategic goals.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in partnership management.

  • Working closely with Practice Excellence, Digital Adoption team & all business lines at head office and in country for IWM to sustain business/digital transformation needs.

  • Developing communication & engagement plans and implementing them to align leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Supporting training efforts; including training needs assessment, training plan, training material and roll-out

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify partnership opportunities.

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:

  • Strong understanding of financial and wealth management

  • Spanish is an asset

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in partnership development, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.

  • Strong knowledge of the banking and wealth management business

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels within the organization.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding business objectives.

  • Analytical skills to assess partnership performance and make data-driven decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
