What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance, you will be responsible for leading a team that supports Infrastructure Operations & Network and other TO stakeholders teams, as needed for Compliance, Continuous Improvements, Reporting and Data analytics. As the team mandate matures the role could take on accountability for Audit and Controls for Infrastructure Operations and Network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: lead in implementing effective management of a Compliance mandate to implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable processes, controls and standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust control frameworks.

  • Continuous Improvement : Manage roadmap changes and resource tracking.

  • Leading and Mentoring – Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology, compliance and risk professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

  • Reporting & Data Analytics : Demonstrate strong abilities around analyzing and understanding data, assist in process developments, and manage OSI (Operational Support Information) reviews.

  • Audit, Risk Control : Prepare for audits, manage deficiency commitments, and provide periodic status updates.

  • Controls & EY Testing : Act as a single point of contact for control and EY testing engagements

How You’ll Succeed

  • People Management : Conduct bi-weekly 1:1s, manage team goal setting and performance reviews, and handle hiring and onboarding.

  • Product Ownership : Build and communicate the vision, document needs into work packages, define user stories, and prioritize the backlog.

  • Leadership : Empower team members, focus on team development, communicate effectively, and show high emotional intelligence.

Who You Are

  • Passionate about People : You find meaning in relationships and build trust through respect and authenticity.

  • Experienced : 3-4 years’ experience in a Compliance Role with an understanding of Infrastructure Operations & Network processes (such as ITIL, Application Operations, Network Engineering, Vendor Governance processes). Understanding of Application Operations and Application Development roles and accountabilities will be an asset

  • Knowledgeable : Extensive knowledge of risk management, audit & regulatory compliance principles, practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Influential : You inspire outcomes by making yourself heard and giving meaning to data.

  • Detail-Oriented : Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision-making.
