What you’ll be Doing:

As a member of CIBC’s CBPT team, the Senior Manager, Intakes, CCR and Release Management reports to Director Application Support and will be responsible for coordinating responses and estimates for the intake funnel for the department Presenting and coordinating cross portfolio deliverables like achievements, quarterly updates etc. Managing the CCR projects and track application infra health Managing multiple fast-paced Releases end to end from requirement to deployment. The role applies leadership skills and technical expertise to manage and support CBPT portfolio on a day to day basis, leading internal change initiatives in alignment with ongoing technological changes. You will lead a team of passionate and seasoned professionals, providing oversight and coaching, enablement as they execute on our purpose and strategy and you will work in close collaboration with our technology and business partners bringing clear purpose and vision for the collective success of the team.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Executive Stakeholder Management : Ability to product high quality Executive presentations on overall LOB achievements, statistics and project progress updates.

  • Strategic Mindset : Ability to think of process improvements in existing and new workflows, optimize process based on business needs.

  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with technology teams, internal and external stakeholders and CIBC vendors/suppliers/partners to translate technology innovation trends, improvement, process effectiveness and cost efficiencies into actionable initiatives for our applications

  • Strong Leadership: Provide strategic insight, leading the technical team through modernization into newer technologies, foster out of the box thinking to drive cost-effective and business enabling solutions. Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate

  • Experience in creating executive presentations and presenting to Sr Leadership.

  • Experience Release Management or project management .

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.

  • Familiarity with Azure and technology Infrastructure is highly desirable.

  • Coordinate release schedules and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Operations.

  • Develop and maintain release plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.

  • Implement best practices for release management, including version control, change management, and release documentation.

  • Conduct release readiness reviews, ensuring that all necessary criteria are met before deployment.

  • Manage the deployment process, including release notes, communication plans, and post-deployment monitoring.

  • Continuously improve release processes through automation, optimization, and feedback loops.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, providing updates on release progress and resolving any issues or concerns.

  • Promote an efficient agile release management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results

  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
