What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of the Finance Controllership team, the Senior Manager is knowledgeable in our Personal and Business Banking processes and is a key finance contributor in a fast paced environment on business initiatives and projects. The Senior Manager is accountable for the integrity of financial reporting systems impacted by project implementation and also for driving efficient process design and automation. The adaptability and curiosity of the Senior Manager enables their work to span across multiple business products and related systems, along with creative problem solving. The Senior Manager works closely and communicates succinctly with the Line of Business Controllers, Accounting, Project and Technology partners.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Problem Solving – you persist to investigate and understand end to end processes from origination to report in order to identify gaps and recommend solutions that are optimal for the bank.

  • Finance controls - are effective and performed on regular basis to identify/manage exposure to risks, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Data analytics – contribute to finance transformation and analysis through the implementation of modern data mining techniques and data analytics tool.

  • Continuous Improvement – mindset and sharing of ideas and opportunities, curious and constantly looking for ways to improve the processes you own or contribute to.

  • Relationship Builder - You have good teamwork, partnership, and relationship building skills sufficient to act in a collaborative manner given team members and stakeholders of different backgrounds and experiences. You have a strong ability to influence others regardless of level and reporting lines.

  • Project management – You have highly developed organization and prioritization skills in order balance and prioritize a number of projects, processes and initiatives. You are a problem solver, a self-starter, take hands-on approach and are able to deal with complex finance and operational issues.
