What You'll Be Doing
As the Senior Consultant, Data Risk and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships within the Chief Data Office and across Strategic Business Units and Functional Groups. Your efforts will enable the expansion and evolution of enterprise data risk reporting and insights.
You will be responsible for developing standard data risk metrics, which includes defining calculation details, articulating the intent and rationale for inclusion, identifying thresholds, and creating visual presentations for reporting. This encompasses Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to monitor the ongoing adoption and effectiveness of data policies, standards, procedures, controls, and data risk identification and mitigation outcomes.
Your role will require you to define and create metrics that provide insights at an enterprise level. This involves establishing aggregate calculation methods, introducing and creating new data where necessary across Business Units, collecting this information, and visually representing results for an executive audience. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Business Units, within the Chief Data Office, and with Enterprise Technology partners to develop these metrics and support the creation of automated reporting solutions.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and/or statistics, along with experience in metrics creation, development, and reporting, including generating insights for Senior Leadership.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
