What You’ll Be Doing

You will be joining CIBC's Wealth Management Technology - Wealth CRM (Salesforce) team. In this role, you will deliver Enterprise CRM projects from design to implementation and aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap and high technical standards.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Ownership : Accountable for technical aspects of Salesforce, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code.

  • Strategic development: Responsible for developing custom applications and code, Lightning Components, Apex, Triggers, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Write, test, analyze, and implement high-quality code according to specifications.

  • Execution: Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations. Define and monitor compliance with code check-in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes using version control systems. Integrations and/or Connectors between Salesforce.com and other applications.

  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with delivery areas partners; interface and maintain communications, monitor business and technology developments and provide on-time response and support.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate technical experience and skills:

  • 5 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform

  • Experience working with the Financial Services Cloud

  • Experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs

  • Experience writing Lightning Components and Apex classes and triggers

  • Experience delivering multiple Salesforce integration projects

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async

  • Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise-integrating technologies

  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users

  • Experience delivering projects in an Agile environment

  • Experience using Salesforce DX is an asset

  • Certified Certified Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Advanced Developer is preferred

  • Ability to provide technical leadership set best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement

  • Experience creating actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements

  • Assisting with scoping and planning of various CRM-related projects and initiative

  • You have excellent communication skills. Ability to present data and effectively articulate with both business and technical teams.
