You will be joining the Digital Technology Business Management Office team as a Project Coordinator. The incumbent will be responsible for financial management activities including forecasting, preparation and tracking of budgets, management reporting, project reporting, business case reviews, month end, and other ad-hoc assignments. The role exercises independent judgement within defined procedures, meeting with the business to document business requirements, ensuring they maximize operational efficiency, and determine estimates of work required and duration for projects. The role applies professional, analytical and communication skills to maintain the momentum of work packages against a background of changing priorities

How you’ll succeed

  • Financial management: Work with internal business partners to manage base and project budgets. Review forecasts, actuals, and variances monthly. Provide input to fiscal planning process. Review business cases and provide advisory to project leads, resource managers and executive audiences as needed. Manage month end close activities.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular portfolio reports, spend analysis reports, and dashboard reporting in Tableau. Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting. You will interact with the Finance department on a regular basis, for the purpose of ensuring financials are accurate and polices are adhered to. Tableau dashboards are updated monthly and shared with executive audiences.

  • Communication – You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses. You are skillful using Microsoft’s suite of products.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: Advanced Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VBAs, etc). SQL and Tableau experience is required as dashboards are managed in Tableau servers. Alteryx experience is a bonus.
