Program Movement Specialist

We are looking for an eager and motivated Program Movement Specialist to join the Media Operations team.. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality and entertaining programming reaches millions of Canadians for well known brands such as CityTV, Omni, FX, and FXX. You will assist in the coordination, conversion, and delivery of programming for Linear Broadcast, and Video on Demand (VOD).

What you will do…

  • Liaise with Studios, Production Companies, and Internal Groups, to coordinate the delivery of programming in the proper specifications.

  • Schedule workorders for specific workflows like Closed Captioning and Described Video for Live and Video On Demand with internal groups and 3rd party vendors.

  • Coordinate with Programming, Brand, Content Preparation, and Master Control on the status of programming, and help troubleshoot any issues.

  • Ensure programing is available for On Air, and On Demand on time and provide contingency programming if unavailable.

  • Other duties as required...

What you will bring…

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

  • Great organizational skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Office 365 Programs, including Excel.

  • Working Knowledge of S4Schedule, S4Rights and S4Media Manager, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Mediagenix/BeBanjo

  • Working Knowledge of ScheduAll

  • Team player and collaborator.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, team environment under tight deadlines.

  • Self-Motivated

  • Some knowledge of .xml
