Rogers Sports and Media is seeking a FT Product Manager to join our team! In this role you'll be part of the digital product team, managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce subscriber platform that monetizes and manages the direct-to-consumer product. As well as the user experience for authentication, entitlements, identity, content access, and TV everywhere. You’ll help build and manage the core subscriber platform, which includes purchasing, billing, personalization, authentication, and retention. To deliver exceptional streaming experiences that will help RSM meet its high-growth subscriber and revenue targets.

You’ll be obsessed with understanding consumer behaviour, industry trends, and competitive insights to improve the user experience. Collaborating and working with a team of engineers, developers, designers, researchers, product managers, marketers, and senior leaders across the RSM org to deliver a best-in-class experience.

What you will do…

  • Articulate and develop the DTC & TVE experience for our streaming users, how they access and consume content, how do we further simplify/elevate the experience for our customers

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer platform, from purchase, authentication, entitlements, identity to billing, personalization and retention.

  • Develop and implement a validated product roadmap by collaborating with key stakeholders, such as marketing, distribution, IT, and programming, on top priorities, timelines, delivery status and launch plans.

  • Have a deep understanding of the video streaming experience to support the entire customer journey

  • Collaborate daily with the UX, business, marketing, customer support, finance and IT development teams to define products, remove roadblocks and evaluate trade-off in order to continuously deliver functionality that make measurable impact.

  • Obsess over understanding and validating user needs and building intuitive user experiences that help increase core UX and business metrics.

  • Work closely with Project Managers on IT teams to participate in agile ceremonies: daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, product demos and release plans.

What you will bring…

  • Digital product experience with subscription or e-commerce products in video entertainment

  • Experience with product ownership of web, mobile, and/or connected TV apps

  • Experience working with Zuora, Adobe, and Transmit Security preferred

  • Collaborative leadership skills and experiences to deliver high-growth products as a cross-functional team

  • Working knowledge of video industry technologies and trends including digital user experience; and product management, strategy, techniques and frameworks to deliver the best user experience

  • You are a power user of streaming services

  • You are focused on using data and user feedback to improve digital products

  • Strong oral/written communication skills to present ideas for alignment and ability to adapt to changing business needs in a complex, matrix organization

  • University or College degree is preferred
