What you will be doing:
Tangerine is looking for a motivated, customer focused Product Manager for Tangerine Credit Cards who will be responsible for the flawless implementation of new products, initiatives and enhancements. In addition, the incumbent will support the successful execution of processes, change management, vendor management and collaborate with internal and external partners for Tangerine’s award-winning Credit Card and Unsecured Lending products.
The successful candidate will work with partners across Tangerine and Scotiabank to play a key role in evolving our products and improving experience across the customer lifecycle, while ensuring we deliver quality experiences to our customers every day.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending Operations.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Lead end-to-end product delivery of new initiatives and enhancements, including new product launches, new partnerships, CX improvements and enhancements
Take ownership in assessing and identifying new opportunities, develop business case and provide recommendations to support revenue growth and expense management objectives, improve customer experience and simplify processes
Research and analyze existing systems and processes to provide faster and cost-effective solutions to ambiguous problems
Support the team on day-to-day Vendor Management for all partners supporting Credit Card Platforms, Card Management, Collateral and other critical processes.
Understand and live the Tangerine Risk Appetite and culture promoting effective and balanced strategies while managing customer friction.
Implement critical partner change requirements and ensure timely implementation of new processes and operational changes involving third parties and external vendors
Support other Credit Card and Unsecured Lending enhancement efforts as needed
Partner with leaders across the Payments and Lending team to create a high performing environment.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or other Graduate degree a plus
5+ years progressive experience in product management or product delivery
3+ years’ experience in working in Credit Card domain; Management experience is an asset
Knowledge of TSYS or equivalent Credit Card processing systems is an asset
Effective project management, collaboration, and relationship management skills demonstrated through previous roles
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to navigate a multifaceted global organization to secure resources, information and consensus through determination, personal creativity, drive and conviction
Ability to develop effective executive-level communications and presentation material.
Strong facilitation, analytical and structured problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous situations
