As a Modern Work Global Black Belt - Sales Specialist your core products are Copilot, Teams Premium, and Teams Phone. You will be a senior solution sales leader within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important finanacial services customers and deals. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner, marketing, and engineering resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed solution sales and usage/consumption targets for related workloads in your accounts. You will help customers evaluate their applications, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As an Microsoft 365 (M365) Global Black Belt (GBB), you will be the M365 sales expert in your assigned area of specialization.

  • Drive complex and strategic deals and influence new Modern Work strategic opportunities by engaging with key business and technical contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision, and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of M365 platform, including Copilot for Microsoft 365 and other Teams workloads (Phone and Teams Premium).

  • Build customer trust with technical expertise in identity and management solutions, communications & productivity platforms, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.

  • Act as subject matter expert for Modern Work workloads, navigating complex deal orchestration, supporting competitor displacement opportunities, and sharing proven practices with field sellers through readiness and coaching to accelerate sales opportunities and engage confidently at Chief Officers level to present your findings and initiatives.

  • Accelerate Microsoft 365 advanced workload opportunities with creative deal strategies, People and Organizations Capabilities, demos and storytelling that overcome customer challenges, while leveraging core team stakeholders (Marketing, Partners, Engineering, FastTrack, Biz Desks).

  • Foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision Makers and support sales teams.

  • Educate and mentor the Modern Work Specialist members of the team and lead the community to foster best practice sharing.

  • Influence engineering and product groups with closed loop feedback supporting refining the sales process and product updates.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

  • 6+ years of related experience in a Modern Work cloud sales and/or technical sales roles

  • 3+ years of experience with the AI architecting and deploying AI workloads

  • High technical aptitude and hands-on experience working with enterprise AI, Cloud and Security solutions and programs, especially Microsoft’s Modern Work solutions

  • Fianancial services and insurance industry knowledge in Canadian market

Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $141,000 - CAD $212,000 per year.
