Canadian Tire Manager Workplace Solutions and Experience (12-Month Contract) in Toronto, Ontario

What you’ll do

The Manager Workplace Solutions and Experience will play a key role in optimizing Canadian Tires Workplace portfolio and strategy to effectively deliver an exceptional workplace experience. The Workplace Solution manager role will evolve building relationships with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder’s requirements, adjusting planning scenarios in response to the business requirements and portfolio changes. Experience with data driven design, space utilization data and dashboards to provide insights on space, design and operations is key. This role will be the RE liaison providing details and insights to the change management and communications teams as it relates to CTC’s Connected Workplace Strategy and Real Estate matters. This role will directly report to the Associate Vice President of Workplace Solutions.

  • Support the transformation of our corporate real-estate portfolio brining thought leadership and incorporating findings from the workplace strategy program

  • Develop and influence flexible design solutions to enhance our working model while supporting business goals and outcomes

  • Support project teams, project manages and cross functional team on the execution of a large multi-phase workplace transformation project

  • Develop, implement and manage workplace strategies that promote productivity, collaboration and employee well being

  • Manage planning scenarios and layouts in response to business changes, requirements and portfolio modifications

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to understand their workplace needs, goals and functional requirements translating them into compelling design concepts

  • Drive plans to proactively address the needs of the stakeholder while continuously improving the quality-of-service delivery with regards to workplace services and facility management

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing employee experience data and utilization data to present insights and strategies to leadership for continuous improvement in the workplace experience

  • Act as liaison between change management team and Real Estate team to ensure fully coordinated program

  • Identity key strategic workplace initiatives to transform client experience including leading recommendations on workplace planning, design, wellness and sustainability

  • Collaborate in partnership with cross functional team including Project Delivery, Facilities Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Communications and Security

  • Creates reports or summaries to measure and analyze effectiveness of design and develops continuous improvement programs to match business strategies.

  • Support team with project process improvement including documentation, templates, project and communications plans

What you bring

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a corporate real estate or corporate design environment

  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or experience in a related discipline

  • PROSCI or other change management certificates are an advantage

  • Highly developed proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

  • Working knowledge in Adobe Suite

  • Experience implementing and working with CAFM or space management software an asset

  • Strong experience in working on large, multi phased transformative workplace projects

  • Sharp analytical skills and high degree of initiative and responsibility.

  • Understanding of space density and density planning

  • Demonstrated significant experience related to industry standards and regulations.
