Purpose
The Manager Field Support is responsible to assist with the effective implementation of assigned projects for new/enhanced business initiatives for Wealth Private Banking designed to improve the client experience by creating service level efficiencies while safeguarding quality and mitigating potential credit risk.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Contribute to overall Private Banking efficiency of end-to-end Credit related processes:
Identifying opportunities for enhancements related to Private Banking Credit processes
Managing risks that are identified and addressed prior to implementation
Ensuring identified solutions are cost effective and consistent with department/bank strategies
Ensuring initiatives impacting Private Banking maintain a client centric focus, ultimately improving the client experience
Writing and revising procedures for new/enhanced systems and processes
Co-ordinate with appropriate partners on preparing presentation decks, training material, News Items and Job Aids, ensuring content is applicable to target audiences
Assisting with the identification of communication needs to support each initiative by collaborating with Business Partners, project teams and other groups
Quantifying impact of changes/amendments in processes to show continuous improvement
Manage the development, and implementation of operational initiatives/strategies related to Credit through various phases from requirement to conclusion by:
Conducting needs analysis/analyzing recommended changes as required
Analyzing and documenting current and future states with the intent of improving effectiveness and delivering on key initiatives
Identifying all deliverables, activities, and dependencies; developing milestones and setting priorities
Developing implementation schedule(s)/ communication plans for acceptance by key parties
Monitoring progress against schedule timeframes and communicating status to management
Engaging Partners to obtain buy-in of all policy and legal procedural aspects to ensure compliance
Seeking to eliminate redundant processes or ineffective procedures and replace with those that have a more client centric focus
Preparing workflows/procedures to ensure new functions are integrated into operational environment
Ensuring proper determination of workflow effort differences between existing and recommended
Ensuring proposed solutions fit platforms, security standards and develop new standards as needed
Assisting with the evaluation of initiatives of other departments to assess their impact on Private Banking operations and taking appropriate action
Developing the appropriate tracking methods, tools, measurements, or MIS requirements need to effectively assess and/or identify gaps in obtaining required information
Provide Day-to-Day Total Wealth and Softek oversight on performance, accuracy, and capabilities through all available channels.
Advises on and proposes systemic improvements to Total Wealth and Softek systems for reporting in Partnership with Business Initiatives.
Provides regular updates to Softek to ensure portfolio data is reporting accurately.
Communicates with Partner groups to troubleshoot irregularities in data captures to Total Wealth.
Contribute to the effective functioning of the Private Banking Head Office team by:
Participating actively in team learning development activities and team performance achievements.
Building effective working relationships across the team and with various business line and corporate function contacts
Facilitating a culture of open and honest communication
Actively participating and contributing to touch bases and team meetings
Encouraging the generation of new ideas and approaches
Actively share knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members
Developing and executing a meaningful employee development plan
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
University Degree or equivalent experience
Previous Private Banking, Credit Structuring or Commercial Banking experience
Expert knowledge of Private Banking, Credit Structuring and Operations policies, procedures operational processes and systems
