KPMG HR Generalist - Business Enablement Services (14 month contract) in Toronto, Ontario

Join the vibrant HR Consulting team at KPMG and unleash your talent as an HR Generalist! We are seeking a dynamic individual to collaborate with our Business Enablement Services (BES) HR Consultants and Business Partner, providing essential support across a spectrum of HR initiatives.

As an HR Generalist, you'll dive into the heart of HR operations, playing a pivotal role in performance management, recruitment, rewards and recognition, and enhancing employee experiences. Your keen attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will shine as you navigate multiple priorities with finesse.

What you will do

Provide Valuable Annual Cycle Support:

  • Facilitate the smooth execution of annual cycles (calibration, pay planning) by booking meetings, coordinating schedules, and taking meticulous notes during meetings, capturing important discussions, action items, and decisions for future reference

  • Input detailed BU level reports into master records, maintaining data integrity and accessibility for the broader HR team.

Offer Comprehensive HR Consulting Support:

  • Manage monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to enable informed decision-making.

  • Facilitate exit surveys, gathering crucial feedback to enhance employee experiences and retention strategies.

  • Oversee distribution lists for Business Enablement Services, ensuring seamless communication channels within the team.

  • Contribute to the development of Quarterly Dashboards, providing key insights and data analysis to drive strategic HR initiatives forward.

  • Support Projects as needed.

Provide Recruitment Support:

  • Offer support throughout the recruitment process, from initial screening to final selection, to ensure the timely filling of vacancies and the acquisition of top talent.

  • Collaborate closely with recruiters & hiring managers to schedule interviews efficiently, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.

What you bring to the role

  • 3+ Years of HR Experience providing a solid foundation for contributing effectively to the role.

  • Recruitment Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in recruitment processes, such as interview scheduling, resume review etc.

  • Strong HR Support Skills: Proven expertise in various HR support tasks, showcasing the ability to handle responsibilities efficiently and contribute to team success.

  • Exceptional Administrative Abilities: Exhibiting exceptional administrative skills, facilitating smooth operations and contributing to timely decision-making processes.

  • Effective Task Prioritization: Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple clients, ensuring timely delivery and meeting critical deadlines.

  • Proficiency in English at a business level is required

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues as this role supports Business Enablement Services nationally.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $53,000 to $79,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
