The Employer and Client Coordinator (ECC) will assist clients with disabilities in finding employment and mentorship in the tech sector or tech-enabled roles. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a network of potential employers in tech-enabled and tech industries.

  • Matching qualified candidates to potential job openings.

  • Assisting clients with resume writing, cover letters, and job interview preparation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • In-depth understanding of job development activities.

  • A client-centered approach.

  • Initiative and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent team and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work comfortably under pressure while delivering quality services.

Duties :

  • Conduct cold calls and identify employers with hiring needs.

  • Actively engage employers through telephone and face-to-face meetings.

  • Negotiate employment opportunities with employers in the ICT sector or tech-enabled roles.

  • Document employer needs and assist clients in preparing for interviews.

  • Facilitate one-on-one job search support, including resume and cover letter updates and mock interviews.

  • Support clients in their job search activities and provide follow-up to the team on progress and employment outcomes.

  • Meet monthly targets to ensure clients successfully obtain and retain meaningful employment.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or relevant education in Career Development, Social Services, or Human Resources.

  • Experience in job development, employer outreach and marketing, customer relationship management, recruitment, and job placement, particularly in the tech and ICT sectors.

  • Experience working with people with disabilities or barriers to employment.

  • Sensitivity to issues/barriers experienced by people with disabilities.

  • Extensive knowledge of private sector and labor market trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, sales, and customer service skills.

  • Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software.

  • Ability to document, maintain records, and assist in reports.

  • A clean vulnerable sector criminal record check is required.
