What You’ll Be Doing

In the Digital Commerce team, we provide personalized, simple, yet flexible digital commerce experiences for our clients, and accelerate revenue growth for OUR bank. As a Digital Commerce Associate, you will use data to identify important trends, insights, and suggestions to increase sales or enhance the client experience, by producing dashboards, reports and by sharing findings with stakeholders. You will also be working on automation projects to help us do more with less resources.

Being a Co-op as part of the SP&S Team:

The Sales Planning and Strategy team is responsible for forecasting out the Digital Sales goals for all of CIBC’s products (Chequing Accounts, Savings, Credit Cards, Mortgages etc.) and actively reporting on how we are performing against those Digital Sales goals. The other part of our team’s responsibility is to help with campaign strategy, so we work as a gatekeeper between the Marketing / Product teams and the Digital Agile Sales team. We help set which campaigns we should run and what the overall strategy should be for those campaigns, so what tactics, what channels, what audience are we targeting, how are we communicating our message, and what KPI’s we are anticipating form the campaign.

The Co-op’s role on our team would be to help us with some of our weekly reporting needs and with some of the campaign strategy. Our team has no shortage of work, and we tend to leave it up to the Co-op to decide what they are most interested in to let you dive in where you want.
