We are looking for a Demand Forecasting (DF) Analyst for a 18-month Contract within our Canada DF team. You will be looking at handling demand forecast for a subset of Apple's LOBs. Description

Develop and handle Apple’s weekly, quarterly, and annual product unit forecast. Assess how variables such as historical performance, seasonality, promotions, category trends, and the macro economic environment impact demand across all Canadian routes to market. Establish forecast consensus with Sales, Finance, and Operations leaders by articulating key drivers of product demand and proactively identifying risk and opportunities to the business. Become the resident authority for the product category, advising senior leadership and cross-function partners with the latest Canadian market trends. Provide guidance to revenue forecast by accounting for sell-thru/sell-in/inventory/product mix variables. Write and present the quarterly business reviews. Evaluate the revenue and margin impact of demand generation investments. Ad-hoc analyses and reporting for senior leadership and sales partners as needed. Involvement in ongoing development and projects related to Apple’s business support systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of meaningful experience within a high performance organization

  • Outstanding analytical and creative thinking skills

  • Ability to synthesize the big picture from disparate data while still maintaining meticulous attention to detail

  • Effective and persuasive communication skills with the ability to implement concise and compelling narratives to diverse audiences including senior management

  • Ability to prioritize, work under tight deadlines and cut through ambiguity

  • Self-starter with a high level of curiosity

  • Demonstrated success building strong business partnerships with a track record of being able to lead and influence

  • Expert knowledge of Excel

  • Proficient in Tableau, Essbase, Business Objects, and Keynote. SQL knowledge an asset

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

Business or science undergraduate degree. MBA or other relevant advanced business degree preferred.
