Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it! As a Data Insights and Reporting Analyst in Apple's Sales organization, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our mission. Collaborating with Sales Professionals, Finance, Operations and Senior Leadership, you will deliver operational excellence by providing data insights, reporting, analytics, and tools to advance our strategic vision. We are searching for a student who can be flexible in the face of business ambiguity and eager to analyze/break down sophisticated datasets to derive clear decisions for our various business partners. This opportunity is located in Toronto with a work hybrid model of 3 days in office and 2 days remote each week for a period of 8 months commencing January 2025.

Description

This program offers mentorship and development to elevate your business acumen and give visibility to a wide spectrum of business functions at Apple. In this role, you will: - Partner with our sales team and finance professional to deliver data, insights, analytics, and reporting in different forms to drive business decisions. - Analyze and derive different business success measurements across areas of the business from the consumer retailer and carrier space to enterprise sales and training. - Capture, distill, and synthesize business requirements to help develop new analytics products and deliverables for the organization. - Design and develop data ETL flows to help build out our data infrastructure of data sources and automation initiatives. - Maintain and build data automation flows to support business reporting. - Support the end-to-end development of Analytics Visualization tools using groundbreaking tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ongoing Undergraduate or Graduate studies in these fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Engineering.

  • Strong experience in using Excel Functions, Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts to derive business insights, decisions, modeling, and finance (VBA is a plus).

  • Outstanding communication and writing skills critical to working across multiple teams / functions.

  • Flexibility to juggle multiple responsibilities and tasks at the same time independently.

  • Quick to learn new skills and quick to ask questions where necessary to further understanding.

  • Understanding of fundamental SQL, data principles, iterative computing, and logic: GROUP BY, JOIN, IF/AND/OR/ELSE, FOR/WHILE Loops.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to data manipulation tools (or similar): Python, Pandas, KNIME, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, R, STATA, MATLAB, APIs PUSH PULLS, GCP, AWS, Azure.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (or similar): Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studios, Looker, MATPLOTLIB, PLOTLY.
