What you'll be doing

As a member of the Hardware/Software & Network Vendor Governance team, you'll work on a team responsible for vendor governance across multiple LOBs in the Technology Operations organization. As a Consultant, Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting the Telecom/Network Vendor Governance tower, including invoice validation and processing, contract reviews, third-party risk and vendor governance obligation activities.

How you'll succeed

Procurement. Work with internal business partners and external suppliers to ensure appropriate procurement of telecom services. Validate invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness, performing follow-ups with stakeholders and suppliers as required. Adhere to CIBC guidelines and follow team processes to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.

Vendor & Contract Governance. Work with our vendors to manage contractual obligations and participate in vendor meetings on a regular basis. Review contracts and perform activities related to managing third party risk.

Reporting. Prepare spend analysis reports and dashboard reporting for senior leadership. Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting using SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and other technology platforms.

Communication. You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses. You are skillful using Microsoft’s suite of products.

You can demonstrate experience in: Problem Solving with knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems. You also have experience in Billing Analysis for Telecom, Process Invoicing, Manager Telecom Vendors, Relationship Management with an ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors and peers.
