Contributes to the overall success of CE business ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Create and enhance the Business Capability Model and deliver conceptual and logical data designs. Ensures all conducted activities are following governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Partner with technology & product stakeholders to align and deliver roadmap aligned Business Architecture artifacts following Enterprise Business Architecture standards (e.g. business capability map, business architecture model)

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve Business Architecture Capability Maturity Models for the Commerce Engineering portfolio.

  • Deliver high-level conceptual and logical data architecture/solution designs of IT software solutions for assigned projects to communicate connection between data point and structures. (e.g. entity-relationship data modelling of software systems)

  • Support technical solutioning for product teams to come up with business solutions.

  • Provide direction and guidance to software engineering team to ensure data architecture aligned solution implementations.

  • Manage efforts to identify & document capabilities, initiative needs, strategic prioritization into business architecture deliverables (roadmaps, etc.)

  • Identify impacts to Business Capabilities by participating in transformation programs & initiatives

  • Map processes to business capabilities as per enterprise standards and collaborating with appropriate SMEs

  • Oversee modelling & support approval for updates to business architecture models for the business domain

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field

  • A minimum of 5 years’ of experience in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.

  • Experience using model-based representations & ability to visualize & create high level models.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of balancing multiple perspectives, effective at all levels.

  • Strong understanding of architecture, systems & integration

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Business Architecture Certification is an asset.
