Purpose

As part of the Sales Effectiveness team, the Content Manager will play a key role supporting GTB Sales organization by developing customized client-facing materials such as PowerPoint presentations, pitchbooks, Sales Sheets, and treasury consultative documents. The incumbent will work collaboratively with partners across International Banking to contribute to the financial success of the GTB Sales and Product teams globally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with Product and Sales partners globally to drive the development of new Sales collateral for Commercial, Corporate, and Multinational Corporate clients, ensuring compliance with target product launch dates and initiatives.

  • Write concise, persuasive content, translating complex information into digestible written material that will be consumed by a range of audiences.

  • Works closely with Marketing teams, leveraging best practices to align with the Bank’s visual identity and brand and adhering to the needs of the GTB business.

  • Improve our database of content and gather input from subject matter experts across different business lines to assemble client-facing documents based on business development opportunities and other requirements. You will assist with maintaining and growing the content library.

  • Support with the ongoing change management process for the implementation of the new content library and proposal automation platform by assisting with the training of Sales and Product teams.

  • Responsible for identifying content library enhancement opportunities in an effort to create efficiencies for a seamless user experience.

  • Complete detailed and accurate treasury consultative documents and assist with identifying areas of potential new business opportunities or service improvements for consideration.

  • Support with other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Strategic Content Solutions.

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Perform duties in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What You'll Bring:

  • You have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • You have 3+ years of related work experience in preparing Sales pitches and developing marketing collateral, preferably within a bank, financial institution, and/or related finance industry.

  • Knowledge of transactional banking services for large international businesses or have a proven ability to rapidly develop expertise.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.

  • You have excellent written communication skills, and express complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. You have an exceptional eye for detail, backed by a solid foundation of grammar and punctuation.

  • You have great proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat. You have experience utilizing a centralized content library, preferably Responsive. Graphic design skills, particularly as applicable to content development, are an asset.

  • You are self-motivated with high organizational and stakeholder/project management skills, being able to clearly communicate verbally in English and Spanish, manage resources, track deliverables, prioritize tasks, and drive multiple projects and requests under tight deadlines.

  • Spanish fluency (oral and written) is required. French would be an asset.

Work Arrangement:

  • Work in a hybrid, standard office-based environment (minimum 3 days in office); non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
