Associate Director, Liquidity Regulatory Reporting

Within Group Treasury, the Associate Director, Liquidity Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for managing the processes and deliverables associated with meeting liquidity and funding regulatory reporting requirements.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be responsible for:

Financial Reporting

  • Delivery of quarterly funding and liquidity MD&A disclosure in quarterly and annual reports.

Regulatory Reporting

  • Ensure that funding and liquidity regulatory reporting (including LCR, NCCF, NSFR, 2L Large Exposures Report, Supplemental Liquidity Template) requirements are met.

  • Provide advice and counsel to business partners (Global Banking & Markets, Canadian Banking, Global Wealth Management, International Banking) and Group Treasury peers to optimize balance sheet usage given liquidity risk appetite.

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

  • Liaise and manage relationship with Global Risk Management, Global Risk Technology and Internal Audit to ensure a sound process for the reporting of funding and liquidity risk.

Management Reporting

  • Report and monitor risk exposures (e.g. Pledging, Securities Financing Transactions, Derivatives Collateral) against management and board limits.

People Management

  • Oversee and actively participate in the development of 2 direct reports.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you possess:

  • CPA, MBA or CFA designation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively manage relationships across various stakeholder groups

  • Knowledge of funding and liquidity risk principles and banking products

  • Background in accounting and financial reporting

  • Excellent attitude and willingness to learn Bank liquidity reporting system
