What you'll be doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s HR Technology Team. You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s HR support, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems, and integration with SaaS vendor applications.

As an Application Consultant, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the HR business and user base. You’ll be the Tech lead responsible for the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. The majority of your focus will be supporting 3rd Party SaaS solutions that provide HR functionality, little hands on development is required but development experience is important for the role. We do have some internally developed SQL and Informatica applications that require hands on development from time to time.

The role also requires on call support, over time and weekend hours may be required.

How you'll succeed

  • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities with SQL and Python scripting. Design the application's technical integration utilizing FTPS deployment and PGP encryption. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions. Develop and support current Informatica ETL processes. Support various SaaS integration from SSO deployment to file integrations with 3rd party vendors. Support multiple vendor solutions simultaneously.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: SQL, Python, Autosys, Informatica 10. Technical knowledge of SSO integrations with third party SaaS solutions. You have supported various 3rd party vendor solutions working with multiple clients simultaneously. Azure Data Factory experience would be an asset.
