Canadian Tire Analyst, Digital Operations & Display in Toronto, Ontario

What you’ll do

As a Retail Media Network Ad-Ops Analyst within our fast-paced advertising unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving our clients' success on our cutting-edge retail media networks. Your primary responsibility includes managing, launching, and optimizing advertising campaigns across specific channels to ensure best-in-class results.

  • Develop and execute strategic advertising campaigns tailored for retail media platforms.

  • Analyze campaign performance data to understand the effectiveness of strategies and tactics

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and technology, to deliver cohesive and integrated campaigns

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the retail media landscape to identify opportunities and threats

  • Manage campaign budgets and forecasts, ensuring we deliver excellent ROI for our clients

  • Continuously test and optimize ad placements, targeting strategies, and creative formats

  • Educate and advise clients on best practices, campaign enhancements, and optimization strategies

  • Collaborate with our product development team to enhance our advertising offerings based on your frontline insights

  • Craft detailed reports that articulate campaign performance and provide actionable insights for client review

  • Work to resolve any issues that arise throughout the campaign, ensuring swift and effective solutions

  • Maintain an agile approach to managing campaigns, adapting quickly to changes within the platform or the market to capitalize on emerging opportunities

  • Regularly interact with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including creating media plans and strategy proposals

  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with the latest technologies and methodologies in retail media advertising

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Analytics, or a related field, with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising campaign management with some or all of the following - Offsite Programmatic Platforms, Offsite Social Platforms, Onsite Display via Google Ads Manager, Onsite Sponsored Products via Criteo

  • Knowledge of Google Ads Manager, Criteo and Google DV360

  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, using insights to optimize campaign strategy and execution

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with teams and clear reporting to clients

  • An understanding of retail media networks and their role in contemporary advertising strategies

  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail

  • A growth mindset, eager to keep up with industry trends and apply new techniques to enhance campaign performance

  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of best practices within the retail media network ecosystem

  • A collaborative team player who can also drive projects independently and take ownership of responsibilities
