Canadian Tire AI & Emerging Technology (ET) Transformation Lead in Toronto, Ontario

What you’ll do

We are seeking a strategic and visionary AI and Emerging Technology Transformation Lead to join our AI and Emerging Technology team. This role is critical in driving the enterprise-wide adoption of new technologies and processes at CTC, with a particular focus on managing change and fostering a culture of innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management, a deep understanding of AI and emerging technologies, and a passion for leading cultural transformation.

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to promote the adoption of AI tools and services within the enterprise.

  • Create educational materials, user guides, and training resources to support the use of enterprise AI and emerging tools for personal productivity, process optimization, and product development.

  • Conduct workshops, webinars, and training sessions to demonstrate the value and functionality of AI and emerging tools to various stakeholder groups.

  • Gather feedback from users to share with AI product owners to continuously improve AI tools and related training programs.

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees, to build support for AI and other transformation initiatives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to support the adoption of new technologies and processes.

  • Identify potential barriers to change and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of new technologies and processes on the organization.

  • Communicate the vision, benefits, and progress of transformation efforts to all levels of the organization.

  • Coordinate with business units and teams to ensure alignment and integration of change initiatives.

  • Facilitate collaboration and buy-in from diverse stakeholder groups to ensure successful implementation of new technologies.

  • Design and lead initiatives to foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, learning and adaptability within the organization.

  • Develop and execute programs to enhance AI literacy and knowledge of emerging technology and trends among employees.

  • Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an AI-driven environment.

  • Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to integrate AI and innovation training into existing development programs.

  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of transformation initiatives.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Capture and document lessons learned from transformation initiatives to inform future projects.

  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related field, or the equivalent professional experience.

  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise transformation and change management, with a focus on technology and innovation.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-wide change initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.

  • Proficiency with organizational development and culture transformation practices.

  • Excellent change planning, execution, and monitoring skills. Proficient with change management tools and methodologies.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • High ethical standards and integrity in managing transformation initiatives and stakeholder relationships.
