What You’ll Be Doing

Step into a dynamic role at the Agile Center of Enablement where you will join a team of experienced and passionate practitioners. Together, you will drive efforts to enhance our organization's Agile maturity, focusing on improving practices, mindset, and overall business agility.

  • Coach and Mentor: Utilize your knowledge and experience in Agile to mentor individuals and teams, elevating their understanding and implementation of new ways of working.

  • Facilitate Training and Development: Conduct both virtual and in-class training workshops covering essential Agile and Business Agility concepts and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Scaling Frameworks. Develop and update training materials as needed.

  • Promote Agile Culture: Champion Agile values and principles throughout the organization, advocating for a shift towards continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a customer-centric mindset.

  • Leadership and Strategic Advocacy: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align Agile principles with business strategies, emphasizing leadership's role in supporting teams and promoting a culture that understands and champions Agile behaviors and practices.

  • Measure and Adapt: Track progress and maturity of Agile adoption through observations, assessments, and feedback, adjusting strategies to meet evolving teams' needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in coaching and training on Agile practices.

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience with Agile practices like Scrum, Kanban, XP, and Agile at Scale.

  • Ability to lead change and influence across various levels of an organization.

How You'll Succeed:

  • Agile Leadership: Champion the Agile mindset, illustrating the key differences between 'being Agile' and 'doing Agile.' Lead by example to foster cultural shifts that empower teams to embrace continuous learning and improvement.

  • Collaborative Influence: Forge strong collaborations with teams, product owners, and other Agile coaches. Use your influence to promote the adoption of Agile practices and a growth mindset throughout the organization.​

  • Coaching and Facilitation: Utilize your deep understanding of Agile to coach and mentor individuals and teams. Facilitate sessions that drive adoption and ensure teams achieve and sustain high levels of maturity in their practices.

  • Change Management: Navigate and lead organizational change by identifying resistance and effectively managing stakeholders’ expectations and concerns. Promote an environment receptive to embracing change.​

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of growth and innovation by nurturing an agile mindset throughout the organization. Use metrics and feedback to guide strategic enhancements, aiming to boost organizational agility and effectiveness.

  • Strategic Agility: Apply Agile values and principles strategically to align with business goals. Adapt and tailor Agile practices like Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile to meet specific team and organization needs, maximizing business agility.​

Who You Are:

  • Agile Maturity: You have a robust understanding and practical experience in applying a variety of Agile techniques, such as User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games. You are adept at using XP, Kanban, Design Thinking, and other business agility patterns to enhance agility.

  • Certified Professional: You hold certifications such as ICP-ACC (Agile Coaching Certification) and ICP-ATF (Agile Team Facilitation), which underscore your expertise and dedication to your craft. Additional coaching certifications are highly valued as they demonstrate a broader commitment to professional development and excellence in Agile coaching.

  • Champion of Change: You embody and champion Agile values and principles daily. Your adaptive and forward-thinking approach enables you to drive change and inspire continuous evolution in practices and mindset within the organization.

  • Collaborative Leader: Your leadership style is inclusive and collaborative, effectively transforming good ideas into great outcomes through teamwork. You value the collective success and are committed to building an environment where every team member can contribute to shared goals.

  • Visionary Thinker: You are proactive and visionary, constantly seeking new opportunities to foster innovation and define future possibilities. Your decisions and actions are designed to influence both immediate and long-term success.
