Moneris Software Developer - .NET/C#/React in Toronto, Canada

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software Developer that has experience with Sitecore, C#, and React.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Manager, Software Development and Architecture.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Work with Marketing teams to help support and develop Moneris websites and customer experience portals.

  • Analyze requirements develop, update or repair solutions

  • Analyze requirements for complex issues to determine the best solution; some user interaction may be required.

  • Participate in the architecture, design and implementation of complex software including having demonstrated knowledge of software development best practices for the full software development life cycle.

  • Work directly with the users of your software, to understand the domain and identify opportunities for optimizations.

  • Take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.

  • Conduct product reviews to ensure functionality meets future user/client requirements. Conceives of new features or re-architecting areas for user and performance improvement.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree required in Software Engineering, Computer Science and demonstrated working in software development environments.

  • 3+ years' hands-on Sitecore , C# , and React development.

  • Ability to navigate through C# code, and ability to adjust the code, if necessary, to suit new requirements/bug fixes

  • Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Practical experiencing working within an Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Fluency in Jira/Confluence – must exhibit an advanced user level.
