We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager who is passionate about development, doing it right and having fun.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to the VP, Commerce Platforms.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Build and lead a best-in-class engineering team
Drive the architecture, development and delivery of high-quality, high-security, high-availability solutions
Be an advocate for engineering best practices (such as shift left testing) and continuous improvement
Provide hands-on coaching to the team at an architectural and code-review level
Share your teams’ accomplishments, risks, and KPIs
Foster a fun, inclusive, collaborative team environment
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
3+ years proven team management experience
Proven development experience with React, Nodejs, and relational databases
Proven experience architecting and delivering high-quality, high-security, and high- availability solutions
Proven experience using GitHub and GitHub actions
Proven experience writing unit tests, API tests and UI tests
3+ years of experience with cloud services (Azure would be great) and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform would be great)
A passion for continuous learning about emerging technologies and software best practices
