Pfizer Finance Senior Manager in Tampa, Florida

The successful colleague in this role will be the finance lead for the Oncology Hematology and Biosimilars franchise in the US, business partnering with the commercial brand teams for a complex portfolio of brands at all stages of the product lifecycle, including the near-term launch of a multi-billion-dollar brand with franchise revenues ranging from $2B - $5B in the planning period. This critical role will provide analytical support for all key finance decisions related to this franchise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic business finance support to the US Heme/BSMs Franchise VP and the US marketing team leaders and colleagues

  • Establish effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners, including marketing colleagues, business analytics and insights (BAI), supply chain and finance colleagues

  • Provide financial leadership, business consultation and analytical support for all aspects of the US Heme/BSMs business.

  • Provide performance reporting for Heme/BSMs US revenue, generating weekly and monthly trackers for all key stakeholders, aligning with BAI on revenue performance drivers.

  • Create, maintain and update the US sales models for all 11 brands for Operating Plan, LE forecasts and other scenario planning, considering the latest market developments and trends

  • Submission of all finance deliverables for Heme/BSMs brands including forecasts, operating plan, quarterly close models, monthly revenue performance drivers and VEP.

  • Support annual operating plan process including aligning with marketing team on optimal resources and revenue scenarios.

  • Oversee advertising and promotion expenses for the Heme/BSMs portfolio.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 7+ years of finance experience required or 6 years with MBA

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written & presentations) demonstrating the ability to effectively summarize critical information into clear, concise and insightful updates for leadership and non-finance partners

  • Expertise in financial modelling & analysis plus budgeting and forecasting

  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree or CPA

  • Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge

  • Experience with Pfizer's financial systems (e.g. SAP, Local Lighthouse, Global Mosaic)

  • Experience in Product P&L financial management and corresponding business knowledge
