National Grid Senior Program Manager - Electric Vehicle Implementation in Syracuse, New York

Job Purpose

As a Senior Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our commercial and fleet EV program managers, contractors, and customers. Your main responsibility will be to implement and integrate a succession of new offerings in our portfolio of products and grow the customer base.

These offerings include the new Demand Charge Rebate incentive, the upcoming Load Management Technology Incentive, and supporting the development and implementation of Commercial EV Managed Charging as NYS policy evolves.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with commercial and fleet EV program managers, contractors, and customers to implement and integrate new offerings in our product portfolio.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of the new offerings.

  • Optimize processes for customer engagement, tracking, and processing of incentives for the new offerings.

  • Stay up to date with NYS policy changes related to commercial EV managed charging and collaborate with the Clean Transportation team in implementing these changes.

  • Execute implementation plans for the new offerings, ensuring they align with evolving policies to meet the needs of our customers and our company.

  • Collaborate with regulatory, finance, and IT teams to meet program reporting requirements in support of data for filings.

  • Enhance existing channel and outreach strategies and develop new ones in collaboration with sales, marketing, and other Program Managers to support the success of the new offerings.

  • Navigate program impacts on internal electric operations, design, and connections teams, ensuring smooth integration.

  • Explore innovative implementation solutions that deliver value to customers, contractors, and customer segments.

Qualifications

  • A degree directly related to program or product delivery.

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in program management, consumer-based technical sales, account management, or project implementation.

  • Experience working with diverse teams and designing inclusive programs with awareness and enrollment growth objectives.

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, influence outcomes, and handle multiple assignments and deadlines.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on action and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in relevant software programs and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), AI, and CRMs.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on technical and financial information.

  • Knowledge or experience in electric vehicles, energy efficiency, program management, building systems, energy regulation or environmental policy, utility operations, or clean energy programs.

Responsibilities

  • Overcome challenges and obstacles by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a culture and platform for future growth.

Upstate NY Salary

$92,000 - $108,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
