About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and provide budgeting/forecasting, analysis, and reporting support for our IT CIDO functions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in compiling, analyzing, and articulating large data sets pertaining to functional performance and developing narratives for leadership. Additionally, you will take a lead role in identifying areas for continuous improvement; with an opportunity to own end-to-end process improvement projects.

What You'll Do

  • Identify best practices and efficiencies and drive continuous process improvement.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement controls in support of maximizing return for IT investments through proactive, strategic accounting and recovery planning.

  • Assist IT project teams with accounting guidance in support of Regulatory and reporting requirements.

  • Define and report on key metrics used to drive operational improvements in the IT capital investment space.

  • Prepare and run monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Consolidate and analyze holistic IT performance data, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and craft high-level narratives and summaries to effectively communicate IT performance to stakeholders across the business.

  • Provide clear and concise reports to executive leadership, highlighting key insights and trends.

  • Conduct ongoing risk and opportunity analysis to gain insight into current performance trends within the IT operations and provide valuable insights and recommendations to support communication to the wider business, aiding in decision-making processes.

  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis at varying levels of granularity, catering to the specific needs and requirements of stakeholders.

  • Present findings and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to best meet the needs of competing stakeholders.

  • Be a change agent experienced in delivering cross functional initiatives

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA/CPA preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills required.

  • Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in finance, audit, business consulting, or data analysis

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, project management) preferred

  • Business owner mentality where you demonstrate autonomy and intrinsic drive to deliver business initiatives

  • Excellent written/oral communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, shift priorities quickly as required, and rapidly adapt to changing environments.

  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Strong organizational skills.

Annual Salary

DNY: $97,000-$114,000

MA: $91,000-$107,000

UNY: $81,000-$95,000

Salary commensurate with experience and location.

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
