The Operations and Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination of activities of the Enterprise Architecture team and the management/implementation of processes that the Architecture team owns.

Architecture Owned Processes:

  • Architecture governance

  • Software/vendor review

  • Software purchase approval

  • Weekly updates to IT on technology innovation and project / process accomplishments.

  • Manage Quarterly Review of Architecture Documents

  • Architecture managed vendor trainings (Microsoft and RedHat)

Architecture Team Management:

  • Project Manage / Scrum Master small projects / Proof of Concept (POC) which architect team is running

  • Ensure team finances are in good order (timesheets submitted, budget updates provided, consultants paid, etc.)

  • Organize weekly architecture gov meetings

  • Team administration management (weekly team meetings)


Skills required to ensure success include:

Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.

Cost Management: Knowledge of cost management; ability to plan and control organizational costs in order to lower product and service costs and maximize return.

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2 years of business or IT operations experience

  • Ability to work with business and IT stakeholders to manage and optimize processes

  • Project Management / Scrum Master

  • Excellent organization skills
