Mid-Senior Level Program Manager, Individual Contributor; able to perform multiple, related functions in support of ongoing Business Operations in Equitable’s CISO Organization, including but not limited to: Budget and Finance Management processes, Contracts and Procurement Processes, External vendor/service provider engagements, small-project PM support, and Requirements Analysis for IT Security solutions.
Cross-train/learn Equitable IT Governance processes and procedures, and work independently as primary liaison to IT Financial Governance organization in support of CISO’s initiatives.
Track and manage ongoing Finances and expenditures for Discretionary and Lights-On/Operational budgets.
Complete ongoing, routine Financial reporting updates on managed cycles (i.e. allocations, accruals, forecasts and multi-year outlooks, TYD spend, etc.).
Provide subject-matter expertise and task support to other PMs and CISO Project Sponsors with respect to Financial tracking, governance, approvals, budget prioritization, issue tracking and reconciliation.
Facilitate Procurement processes, including interfacing with teams performing contract/SOW reviews, risk reviews, occasional RFP/RFQ exercises, and related approvals.
Function as Project Manager (PM) starting with small, in-house CISO projects, and gradually expanding breadth and scope into more complex projects over time.
Interface with IT Infrastructure, CTO, and CISO operations teams, SMEs, project sponsors, and stakeholders, to analyze processes, determine requirements, and support solution development and implementation for IT Solutions common to the cyber-security industry.
Eventually, train on basic Infosec and Cyber-Security processes, sufficient to provide oversight, facilitation, and/or task support for ongoing, operational process cycles typical of an Enterprise IT Security Governance organization (i.e. Risk Assessments, Metrics & Reporting, Exceptions processing, developing and maintaining Policies & Standards, Data Governance, Data Protections, etc.)
5 years of demonstrated experience and success in the areas Finance and Budget Management, IT Project Management, and Service Delivery experience in one or more areas of IT Security.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Enterprise IT organization, including minimum 3 years of experience in a role involving direct management of, or independent task support for, Finance and Budget management processes.
B.S., B.A., or comparable degree, or higher. Business Administration, IT, or IT-Security
Industry training/certifications in the areas of Project Management, IT Operations, and/or IT Security, are a plus (i.e. ITIL, PMP, Agile, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc.)
Demonstrated attributes: attention to detail; adherence to tight timelines and schedules; flexible to changing timeline demands; adherence to required governance processes, laws, regulations, policies, and standards; trustworthy in handling confidential information and maintaining need-to-know access to details; clear and concise communicator (written and verbal).
