The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for developing and providing Chronic Pain Management care in collaboration with the physicians, community resources, and staff to develop and provide a well-balanced program. Duties Include: Assist with initial evaluations and follow-up. Provide collaboration within the health care team and demonstrate clinical expertise in chronic pain management to ensure safe and effective care. Assist in educational programs to promote quality care in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of care within the framework of clinical guidelines. This position serves as a healthcare professional who, under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician, provides healthcare service to patients. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Nurse Practitioner : NYS License, National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higheR) in Nursing or completion of a course for Nurse Practitioner. Minimum one (1) year of pain management experience. Physician Assistant : NYS License. National Board Certification as a Physician Assistant. Bachelors' or Masters' degree (foreign equivaent or higher) from an accredited school of Physician Assistants.
