Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Strategy and Performance Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a DCT Strategy and Performance Programs Coordinator! This position will lead deployment, development, and implementation of processes, tools, and activities to effectively support DCT in its Strategic Planning Strategy and Performance System activities. The Strategy and Performance Coordinator will oversee and manage the operation of programs and processes in the DCT Strategy and Performance department ensuring the organization has systematic and effective processes in place to conduct its strategic planning activities, and strategy and performance functions.

The position has a primary role in developing and maintaining positive, productive, and results-oriented relationships across a divergent group of persons including, the DCT Strategic Action Planning Teams, data analysis, DCT executives and other stakeholders. The position will have managerial influence and control primarily in the area of practices, processes, and procedures.

The position will consult and confer with the DCT Strategic Planning Director and will lead and ensure that strategy and performance activities, efforts, programs, functions, and initiatives are timely, relevant, productive, complement, and support each other.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the comprehensive DCT Strategy and Performance programs. Ensure that all strategy and performance programs and projects are active and effective, including strategic planning processes, monitoring key metrics, integrating program activities, identifying opportunities for improvement in order to improve strategy and performance outcomes.

  • Provide education, tools and resources for planning teams, and stakeholders.

  • Provide the Strategic Planning Director and Strategy and Performance stakeholders the data, analysis, information necessary for review, decision-making and long-range planning for programs. Perform detailed technical work related to data gathering and measurement.

  • Act as a liaison between Strategy and Performance, Quality, Executive Leadership, and programs.

  • Utilize data to provide summaries, results, recommendations, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare information, summarize, and interpret results.

  • Provide the Strategic Planning Director and Strategy and Performance stakeholders the analysis, information and reports necessary for review, decision-making and long-range planning.

  • Perform detailed technical work to provide clear narrative summaries of information, results, recommendations, opportunities for improvement. Prepare written narrative reports, integrate qualitative and quantitative data and information, summarize, and interpret results for program stakeholders, DCT executives, internal committees, and external bodies.

  • Coordinate across program activities to advance and meet Strategy and Performance program objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of strategic planning or project management experience working within a healthcare setting that demonstrates the following:

  • Experience coordinating operations in a strategic planning system.

  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data sources to prepare data and metric summaries and narrative reports.

  • Experience developing and implementing various processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in informatics, information technology, data analytics, economics, or related field.

  • Lean six sigma certification (ex. Green Belt)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Teams, Excel, Forms, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Visio and Tableau.

  • Experience designing and conducting surveys and analyzing results of surveys.
