What You Will Do

The primary purpose of this role is to lead inventory flow optimization using proven forecasting and

analytic models to control flow parameters and network capacities of the distribution centers, transportation and logistics, and vendors. This includes responsibility for overseeing the development, management, and implementation of advanced planning tools, monitoring results, and alerting Supply Chain management of trends or conditions that may adversely impact Supply Chain operations. This role also leads short and long term supply chain network planning efforts to recognize and recommend opportunities to achieve efficient inventory flow, capacity for new/incremental programs and decrease distribution center and transportation incremental costs. Further, this role supports field based Regional Flow Specialists (individual contributors) who manage day to day PO and demand obstacles to ensure effective flow for the RDCs.

Travel Requirements: This role requires frequent short day trips near the facility and possible infrequent domestic overnight travel.

What We're Looking For

  • Required to work a set schedule that meets the needs of the facility.

  • May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the needs of the facility.

  • Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.

  • There is no lifting requirement for this role.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field AND 6 years equivalent work experience in a related field

  • OR 10 years equivalent work experience in a related field in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience identifying and implementing significant process improvements

  • Experience leading developmental projects and viability testing

  • Experience communicating with local leadership up through executive level
