The CLT will perform highly skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of coursework for the Biology Department. Reporting to the Chair of the department, the CLT: Sets up, maintains, and organizes student laboratories, particularly in relation to Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of equipment and materials Maintains appropriate safety and hygiene standards Maintains required documentation related to laboratory activities Manages equipment and materials inventories. Prepares, in a timely fashion, all necessary biological samples (preserved or living), reagents, solutions, demonstrations, andother materials for use in assigned labs and departmental facilities. Ensures a safe and clean laboratory environment. Maintain a clean, orderly, and functional laboratory for use in assigned labsand departmental facilities. Operates, maintains, repairs, and cleans equipment and accessories used in assigned labs and departmental facilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma with a minimum of four years' related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience. COMPENSATION $47,509 - $65,896 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
