CRE Lending Officer

Tatum's client, a publicly traded community bank, is in search of a CRE Lending Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and aggressive financial institution in a highly visible, high incentive comp capacity. The bank has $1B AUM and provides banking services to individuals, families, small/mid-size businesses, et al via an array of vehicles. Our client is a lean-operating bank that is able to move through transactions expeditiously while ensuring the highest underwriting practices.

responsibilities:

The CRE Lending Officer will be charged with originating new real estate lending opportunities and relationships for the bank in the Tri-State area, while maintaining the current portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a customer-centric individual with 7+ years in CRE lending, possess an expansive network and prior relationships, and must be well-versed in all regulations and policies.

qualifications:

Required Criteria:

• 10+ years' in commercial banking (community banking is a plus)

• 5+ years in new CRE business development, deal structuring, and portfolio management

• Experience originating in the NYC, Fairfield County, and/or Westchester County markets

• Proven track record of $20M-$50M in annual originations

• Well versed in credit analysis and current CRE underwriting guidelines
