We have a great opportunity for a Licensed Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical support to our Direct Care and Treatment division. If you have a passion for psychiatric pharmacy, this hybrid position may be a great fit for you! The pharmacist in this position will dedicate half of their time to serving as the consultant pharmacist for Child & Adolescent Behavior Health Hospital (CABHH) and MN Specialty Health System (MSHS) Willmar, while the other half of their time will be spent as a Clinical Pharmacist at SPRTC. This pharmacist will be completing consulting work for CABHH and MSHS Willmar from home 2 days per week for 3 weeks of the month and will need to be on site at CABHH and MSHS Willmar one-two days per week, for one week per month. The remaining days will be spent as a Clinical Pharmacist at SPRTC, with potential opportunity for more work from home days to complete these duties, depending on assignments, rounds schedule etc.
Job Duties:
Provide pharmaceutical care services, including clinical consultations for patients, including pediatric patients.
Serve as a consultant/clinical pharmacist to medical and nursing staff at CABHH, MSHS Willmar, and SPRTC to provide the most current information regarding drug therapies.
Complete clinical reviews for CABHH, MSHS Willmar, and SPRTC patients and meet with providers for team rounds/meetings to discuss recommendations.
Lead quarterly, multidisciplinary CABHH Pharmacy &Therapeutic meetings and report to DCT Pharmacy &Therapeutic.Participate in antimicrobial stewardship reviews at CABHH.
Deliver occasional presentations to educate staff and patients on pharmaceutical topics.
Provide education to students, resident, staff, and patients on pharmaceutical topics
Ensure that the process for dispensing medications from the pharmacy meets all legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards for the facility.
This pharmacist will be expected to cover a weekend (Sat/Sun) in the SPRTC Pharmacy from 7am-12pm, approximately once per quarter. *

Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Minnesota
Two years of experience as a fulltime clinical pharmacist or completion of a (PGY1) 12-month Postgraduate Pharmacy Residency*
Valid Minnesota driver's license
*Note: Candidates currently in a 12-month Postgraduate Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY1 & PGY 2) may apply and are eligible for a contingent offer based on successful completion of a PGY1 or PGY 2 program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing pharmacy services for individuals with mental illness, chemical dependency, and related or co-occurring diagnoses.
Experience providing pharmacy services for pediatric patients with mental illness.
Experience participating in multidisciplinary rounds and working on interdisciplinary teams.
Experience providing patient education.
Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP)
Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
Eligible to sit for an appropriate pharmacy specialist exam.
Completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy.
Proficient at documentation, project development, and/or precepting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
